Global Big Day - October 17, 2020 - eBird a birding event for all birders Worldwide

This means that birding will be taking place from midnight to midnight on that day.

The main goal of the day is to see as many birds as possible and set a World record for the highest number of birds seen. But at the same time, this day forms a great opportunity for birders to spread awareness about the conservation of birds across the globe. The day highlights threats facing birds, such as habitat loss and illegal bird trade.
